Alice’s Restaurant
Here you will find yourself on the Crest of the hill and in a different world. Suddenly you will be surrounded by trees, winding roads, motorcycles and a dog-friendly restaurant. The food is all American pub food and tastes like it was cooked for a king! It is… the kings of enterprise and corporations make their home here amongst the trees. You will even find Shirley Temple’s old digs.
Continue down the hill and into history. Along the road that leads to a beautiful coastline you will find Marinette and the Apple Jacks, a favorite hangout of the Grateful Dead. Keep your eyes open you never know who you will see along this stretch of road.
Continue to the end of the road and you will be rewarded with beautiful beach views. Bring the dog with you. They can eat at Alice’s restaurant and run on the beach! Of course, bring a leash.
The greatest thing about this is that you can pass through all these worlds in a few hours. It’s worth have the quick, memorable afternoon trip steps and it’s just from the Tech Cap of the world.
Please note: The roads are windy! This will slow you down and let you enjoy and allow you to enjoy the view. Who knows what you may see.
