Whidbey Island is about an hour and a quick ferry ride from Seattle. Once there you are truly on a magical island. Whidbey may be lesser known than its San Juan island neighbors to the North, but it should not be overlooked as she is closer and just as charming. Whidbey allows you to enjoy the perfect weekend or one night get away due to it’s proximity to Seattle.
